6 weeks

Carson is now 6 weeks. He is growing up so fast. He now weighs 8lbs 10 oz, 22 inches long. Tall and skinny. He is still such a good baby. We got lucky with him. We still just get to hang out all day. We have been going on more walk now that the rain has stopped which has been good for me. It's some type of exercise. It is so fun and amazing to watch carson grow.

MTC

Last week Carson and I went to Utah with my mom and Scott to drop off Scott at the MTC. We left Tuesday morning and did some last minute shopping for Scott before we dropped him off. We also went to the MTC Tuesday night to take a couple pictures because we knew we wouldn't have much time Wednesday morning. Scott was so anxious in the morning to go, he wasn't even hungry for breakfast! He said He had been waiting for this day since January and just wanted to be there. We got to the MTC around 11:30. We just dropped him off said a quick goodbye and that was it. They no longer have the orientation so it as a curb side drop off. My mom said that she had a letter waiting for her when she got to Georgia on last Saturday. He is doing good and likes both of his companions. Hopefully he will be good at writing and we will be able to here more about his mission.

Carson's blessing

On Sunday, May 31st we had Carson's blessing. Austin blessed him during sacrament meeting and then we went to be with my brother Scott to be set apart as a missionary right after. We did Carson's blessing sooner than normal so that Scott could be apart of it and before my mom left to go back home. My dad was also able to make it, along with Austin's parents. It worked out pretty good for the long distance travelers I think. Of course we had some family and friends here that didn't have to travel as far!

We had a little lunch afterwards. Luckily the weather was nice because I don't think that we would have been able to fit everyone in our apartment. Carson looked so grown up in his blessing outfit. It was a busy day but it was fun share this day with some of our family and friends.

Just like Dad

We took Carson to watch his daddy play baseball for a little bit. He wore his baseball sleeper so he could match dad. It was good to get out of the house and also let Keagen and Chad run around outside.  I'm sure we will have more baseball games to watch this summer.

Austin always wanted a picture of him holding his kids in his mit. Carson is almost too big but it still worked!

Meeting Family

The last week has been busy with family coming in to meet Carson. He didn't seem to be bothered with all the new people he was meeting. It was fun having family around for a little while.
