The latest news

Well it's been a long time since I updated our blog. I'm not really good at remembering to do that. Things are going well for us. Austin is almost done with this semester. His last class is on Friday! Work is going good for me, and I'm still enjoying it a  lot. But most importantly, things are going really well with my pregnancy. I haven't really been to sick so I've been lucky so far. We got this ultrasound about a month ago and that's when I found out that I was actually 4 weeks farther along that what I had originally thought. My due date is May 13, 2009 and we find out what we are having on Jan. 6th. We are both really excited and can't wait till may.

Home Sweet Home

We are living in a basement apartment in Rexburg. It is a one bedroom, but we have lots of room and it's close to campus. The ceilings are a little low so when Scott, my little brother, comes over he always has to duck! Its kind of funny. It took us a few weeks to get everything situated, but we now have it how we like it. The only thing missing is our wedding pictures, but we should be getting them soon!
The Kitchen! We have no dishwasher:(

Trip to Portland

I'm kind of slow at posting things but I liked these pictures so I decided to post it anyways. It's better late then never. On our way to Rexburg we stopped in Portland to go shopping, go to the zoo, and to go to the temple. We also stopped at some falls right outside of Portland on our way to Boise. They were fun to see. We didn't hike all the way up because we were in our Sunday clothes. Maybe next time we will. We had fun on our little vacation before Austin started school again.

I can't remember the name of these falls!

Hurricane Ridge

On August 3rd, Austin and I went to Hurricane Ridge for a picnic. Everyone here kept telling me how great of a view it was so it made me really want to see it for myself. The view was amazing and it was a great day too. We were able to walk around on some of the trails and enjoy nature.

Honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico

Our honeymoon was so much fun. It was the first time that Austin and I have ever been out of the country (except Canada). The resort was amazing, the weather was great, and we were able to go on a few tours and see some of mexico. We were able to see one of the ruins and actually climb the temple. We were lucky that we went when we did because after this summer, they are no longer letting people actually climb to the top. Hopefully some day we can go back and be beach bums again!

First weeks of married life!

The first three weeks of our married life Austin and I were always traveling somewhere. We went from Idaho to Utah, back to Idaho, then to Michigan. We then spent a week on our honeymoon in cancun. From there we went back to Michigan, back to Idaho, and then finally to Washington where we have been since May. We were able to do some fishing when we were in Utah. Austin hates to admit, but I caught more fish!

Our Wedding Day

The wedding was amazing! We got sealed at 3:30pm and we were the 26th couple to get sealed that day. The weather was great! The sun was shining and it was in the 60s, which is not typical for Rexburg. We just got lucky! Alot of our family and friends were there to support us which made the day even better.
